Why can I NEVER seem to get an S rating?

So, I've been playing as Shyvana for quite some time now, and now that I am a Mastery level 6, I need 3 Master Level 7 tokens to continue upgrading but I can never seem to get an S rating (my highest is S-) while playing, even if I do really well. For example, the most recent game I played I went 18/0/4 (K/D/A) and had 141 minion kills with a total collection of 12,268 gold and I got an A+ rating. Yes, it was a relatively short game at just under 27 minutes, but still... I think that's a pretty good ratio. Either way, can someone give me the best way to possibly get an S rating in my game? And if you could also tell me what determines any S rating and the A-F ratings that'd be helpful as well. Thanks!

Also, on the side, do the A-F ratings have any significance? Like do they give you more XP or something or are they just there to tell you how you did?

It says you placed 0 wards the entire game. That's a sure way to drop you a letter grade or 2 right there.

How do you go a whole game without dropping a single ward

Idk lol I usually do. So they have like a major affect on ratings?

Warding is very important for your grade. Every time your yellow can drop a ward, drop it. Hunt and clear enemy wards too.

Build is absolutely atrocious. Work on that and you'll naturally do better

Need way more CS too, especially on Shyv. Have M7 on her on 2 acct and with her being a super farm lane and split pusher you can get 250+ CS pretty easily

Yeah for my builds I’ve just been random shit there lol but it seemed to work. I’ve been getting better with my builds now though

its tied to minion kills versus deaths. dunno why but it is.

Your grade is based on how you compare to everyone else who played the champion you played in the role you played. If you fail to each a certain grade you wanted, it means your aggregate score was lower than too many others' aggregate scores.

In your specific case, 141 minions is very low for a 27 minute game. You have to score well in every category to get a good grade. Going 1000000000000000/0/10000000000000 is meaningless if you have 10 minions.
