Problem with the Trancendence rune

Because of the fact that, that this rune gives you free AD or AP when you have more cooldown going over the cap means people are going to just stack items such as (some people already are). Now imagine if Assassin's such as took this rune, they are going to be essentially tanky with atleast 4K health and still deal the same damage.

Yeah this rune seems really fun for assassin's, get tanky get free AD/AP and don't get punished in any way for it. This isn't a healthy rule and even if the rune idea itself was an interesting idea it's simply too strong for assassin's to abuse.

Besides the fact that you lose all utility from item 3147 item 3142 item 3814 , the phage and shred don't stack, and the AD offered is fairly low.

400 hp and 60 ad for 3k is pretty expensive when you consider the fact that their effective HP is lower than someone who would build some Armor and MR

maybe making the cdr a unique passive like essence reaver or nashors, but the rune itself is working as intended and i don't think the rune is the issue, it's just the interaction with some items

I agree, but one of the cleavers would be skipped out to get item 3147 for someone like Zed in this case.

Ok, so you got a bunch of ad and HP with zero damage reduction

meanwhile I can't think of a single carry pick that can't deal 4k with a rotation, including various bruisers, when building without this cheesy crap

I'm talking about the issue of the rune itself and that thread you linked just talks about if it's worth to stack CDR items. What was your point here exactly?

I dont think its an issue with the rune, i believe its an issue with those items not being UNIQUE. item 3165 item 3115 are both unique in terms of cdr which is why only ad champs can abuse that rune. however item 3078 item 3071 item 3025 are not unique and the cdr is stackable
