OMG 2k games and still stuck in bronze/silver/gold

I get this a lot, I started really playing last season in which I had 3K games and went from Bronze to Gold, this season I am at Gold 1 about to make a move to plat, but I still hear people say 'OMG x games and still in this elo' blablabla.

I am wondering, how many games does the average plat/diamond player have? (non smurf) What is the average amount of games for a certain elo? Does anyone know or are there any statistics on this? I imagine it's hard to find out because of smurfs but I am pretty sure Rito could detect smurfs by the way they advance in elo.

Anyone?

Uh I climbed from silver 5 to gold 5 in 62 games this season. 3k seems like a shit ton tbh

to be fair, I have seen that happen many times, but after a while most of those people fall back down, I've had it to when I started League, I got to silver 1, almost gold, then dropped to Bronze 4. Maybe I am just bad, but I also had no previous experience with MOBAs, I am talking about people that are new to the genre not some DoTa pro that starts playing League. Like when I play Heroes of the Storm now I pretty much rofl stomp everything towards level 40.

Nah, I'm not going to fall down and you trying to tell me that I dont deserve this rank is complete bullshit. Maybe we all dont have a flatlined learning curve and dont need 3k games to stop making the same mistakes?

I am not trying to tell you anything, I am only explaining my own observations. Well okay maybe you are the christiano ronadlo of league and you have talent, but I am not talking about talented players I am talking about the average player.
