New rengar is just a ball of stats design with little actual gameplay.

He gets so much free ad from his passive that he can build bruiser and still do big damage. He also has olaf ult on a basic ability, making him extremely difficult to kite.

Umm let me explain all his moves have less base damage and less scaling by a lot . Not to mention he doesn't build stacks from his ultimate and he cannot walk around with stacks.....play as him then talk

Play against him and his easy cheese burst, and then we'll talk

At least reworked Rengar's Q can be dodged now.

Hardly relevant with 400-500 AD auto-attacks to throw around like free candy. :P

To be fair, pre-rework Rengar tended to have that much AD with his ferocity Q steroid no problem. But that Q couldn't be dodged unless you were Jax.

And his Q could crit.

No, he tended not to.

From patch 6.2 until the rework, Rengar got 20% bonus AD from ferocity Q and had 51 more base AD at lvl 18 than reworked Rengar. 128 base AD at lvl 18, unlike current Rengar's 77. With two AD items (Youmuu's and R.Hydra) that gave him 268 AD pre-ferocity Q.

With ferocity Q, that was 321.6 AD with 2 items if he was lvl 18.

If he had deaths dance or bloodthirster with those two, he'd have 343 AD, and 411.6 AD with ferocity Q.

I'm actually rather impressed with the assassin rework... Rengar being the only exception. Riot really didn't do anything to make him healthier and he still has that extremely toxic game design. From what I've seen he's even more unhealthy now than he ever was.

With that said all the other assassins seem fine design-wise. Kat and Akali could use some help but that can be fixed with a few number changes. Other than that I like this new assassin update.

Kha'zix is borderline OP, too. While not as overloaded as his furry nemesis, he definitely came out look very good after the rework. Perhaps a bit too good.

Yeah, it is the Yasou-syndrome all over again: Rito just pumping far, faaar too much into a Champ.

Rengar is a lot easier to play now, burst harder than before while the whole experience feels less rewarding and flimsy. Everyone hates him now, including the vast majority of main Rengar players. We need to unite and somehow determine RIOT to actually come with a rework that honor both the actual Rengar players and his opponents.
