The most played game in the world seemingly can't keep more than a handful of queues populated?

Team Builder and Ranked 5s were retired with the release of Dynamic Queue because of concerns about low population, then went SoloQ to prevent fragmentation, then went Dominion, Twisted Treeline is still basically a wasteland across the board, and now were looking at the death of Normal Draft.

Meanwhile countless other popular games have tons of full playlists.

So?

What are you gonna do about it?

What are any of us gonna do about it?

I remember when Dynamic Que was first implemented and we lost our other playlists but did Riot listen?

No, no they didn't. They did things their way and we suffered with for a whole year.

So what makes you think they're gonna listen to us now?

We play the game. We do not control the the very aspect.

Draft and dynamic queue filled every hole left from the old queues. We didn't suffer at all.

It is not that they can't populate the gamemodes, but the difference in skill lvl increase the more queues they have. And why have more queues that do the exact same thing?

They could easy have 50 queues with instant queue pops, but a lvl 5 would face Diamond players. Not fun.

Have you played TTR? I do, low queue times and good games. Dominion blindpick had low queue times since (noone played draft fkn 45 min queue times), but in the end dominion was outdated and nothing near as popular as the rift and they didnt want to waste resources updating it.

Draft queue is not beeing removed on EUW or NA. On other server almost noone were playing the queue, making flex queue more than a suitable substitute. And if it turns out it is not, they will re-enable it.

No one played draft Dominion because no one else played draft because a "no dodge timer penalty" bug persisted there for months. Dominion itself wasn't popular because Riot didn't spend resources on it.

Considering normal draft is unranked and Flex queue is ranked, Flex really doesn't qualify as a substitute. It fills a different niche, especially for anyone who used normal draft to practice for ranked.
