@Riot: Would a "sliding mechanic" on a champion be fun?

For the sake of simplicity take Bards magical journey, make it so you don't become a ball, give it a certain distance, make it so you don't need terrain, make it so you can enter/exit it in any direction, but it will push players towards a direction like a CONVEYOR BELT and during this they will still be able to use spells and auto attacks but remain "stationary".

This would make things like Miss Fortune able to bullet time forward fleeing enemies if this champion was a support. This could make Katarina go from a stationariry beyblade to a moving one. This could make Karthus channel his ult while moving. This could make Fiddlesticks a impending doom on a treadmill

But it could also push them away.

Think about being pushed back, but not stunned is what I am trying to say

One last example. A WAY TO SAVE EGGNIVIA

Definitely fun to play, although I'm not sure about fun to play against. That one spell can be used as engage, disengage, AoE slow, zoning, etc. Too much utility into one spell. This is more utility than Thresh lantern.

It could be an ultimate?

I guess that would be fair.
