Why isn't this item available in Summoner's Rift? It seems like a perfect item for every AP champ who needs to get close to deal damage. Not only that but it would give some build diversity since right now the only thing that you can build from seeker's armguard is zhonya's hourglass.
Lucentile1 votesProbably because it is a perfect item for too many characters, it would start to crowd out other items and push some characters a lot higher than they currently are. I'd like to see it in SR, but I think that it isn't there for a reason. But, with a lot of items getting added back to ARAM, maybe we'll see it leak into SR.
Randomonium1 votesI think it has a good niche. Its not really a tank item so I don't think it would push the tank top/jungle meta any further. Its a much better fit on AP melee fighters (rumble, diana, nid, elise, eve, etc.) and would provide a much needed power spike to those champs (most of which are underplayed.)
I say they should release it on the PBE and see how it goes. Maybe it needs to be tweaked and maybe it doesn't.
