We have it nice over here in the NA server. We should be very happy.

So I got a 14 day ban the other day. I decided to level up my LAN account during the ban. I have way better ping on LAN so figured, fuck it, I'd level up that account and play there, maybe even permanently. Playing with 70 ping is really a dream. Everything feels so smooth.

Anyways, as of this post, the account is level 22 and I have to tell you. It is the most disgusting experience I have ever had in all my time playing this game. The first thing I noticed is the disgusting amount of AFKs over here. You think you get afks in every one of your ranked games here? Please. Try every single game. Yep, that's right. Having a game where all 10 players play from start to finish is exceedingly rare over here. Every game you start, you can bet there will be an AFK on one team or the other. Hell, I've had a number of games that were 4v4 with afks on both teams, also had a couple of 3v5s. Maybe you get lucky a couple games and not get an AFK, great, but wait. Not so fast. Your bot laner and support will mumble some shit in Spanish and the next thing you know the support is running it down mid. I never know why because I don't speak Spanish but the amount of trolls and just straight inters you find here is astonishing. You queue up for a game on the LAN server, you can be sure it's gonna be some shit going down. Either it's an AFK or two or some asshole just running it down.

I get the impression that it's real difficult to get banned here. You can say some of the most horrendous shit here and never even get a chat ban. I don't even think they will ban people for trolling or inting.

I'm hoping at this point that this shit won't be so prevalent in ranked when I finally get the account to 30 but I have to say, I really miss NA, higher ping and all. The lower ping is literally the only saving grace. When I get back to NA, I will never cry about trolls again. I know now just how fuckin bad it can really get. Try playing on LAN and you'd get some perspective real quick. Playing 10 games in a row where no one afks is a luxury, not a right. Playing 10 games in a row with trolls in only two of those games is paradise.

So next time you guys think about crying about trolls, inters and afks in every game, think about the LAN server. Imagine having to go through that every game instead of every 5 games.

UPDATE 2/23/2019:

So after having played over 160 ranked games on LAN(the account is currently level 47) I can definitely say my instincts were correct. The amount of AFKs here is truly disgusting in ranked. I'd say on average you're 5 times as likely to see an afk on either team in a match on the LAN server. The amount of remakes and 4v5s I see daily is mind boggling. NA is definitely the better server to play ranked on if you have decent ping. As I'm updating this, I've just had two remakes back to back, something that has NEVER happened to me on NA. Honestly, if it weren't for the great ping I get here, I'd never play on this fuckin server again. I really really miss NA to be honest but 60 ping is just too good compared to 150.

On the flip side, people do seem to grief a lot less in general over here. You don't see that many straight trolls on the LAN server but the afks definitely make up for it.
