When should you dodge?
It's really based on opinion when you should dodge. For example when you don't get your main role. I dodge most of those games. But people think like "Oh my team comp sucks, Better dodge!" No. It's soloQ, the last of your worries should be team composition or bad champion picks. Here are some reasons I personally would dodge.
1: Players being tilted from champ select is pretty much guaranteed a loss! If 2 players are arguing, most likely over something stupid, just dodge.
2: When people make bad low elo bans such as Udyr/Shyvana and Yi which aren't SUCH bad bans in higher elo IMO (actually the only good ban there might be Shyvana) but anyways that means the following: 1. They don't know how to avoid ganks. Think about it, they're banning the 3 worst junglers at ganking and their banning them most likely because they got snowballed on so many times by these specific champions. How do you get snowballed by the worst ganking junglers currently in the jungle? How do I know it's because of that? Because it's low elo. That and all this game is at the moment is snowballing the earliest as possible. If they aren't already snowballing in games where the enemy jungler is supposed to be almost completely useless, they get snowballed on. Not to mention, they are banning champions they have trouble with early on that scale into late-game (except Udyr) imagine how bad they are at avoiding ganks from GOOD early pressure junglers. They are just really bad at laning at that point. No offense to those people I am just keepin' it real.
3: When you see your mid-laner have smite at the start of champ select. That means he primarily plays jungle and mid. If you don't know, jungle mains like myself are forced to pick a secondary role that is either mid or top. We can't choose anything else or we're guaranteed that other role. At least top/mid gives us a 50% chance at jungle. Depending on the time of day really, back to the point. Obviously your mid doesn't play mid in that case sooo... Dodge if you really want to.
4: You're tilted. Stop playing while tilted. Dodge RIGHT NOW!
