35% CDR can be acheived in 10 minutes as a mage

Why is it so easy to get CDR? If you transcendance, cosmic insight, and morellos thats an instant 35% which RIDICULOUS by 10 minutes considering you were able to buy morellos.

I get 40-45% as support in 10 minutes. 55% once Transcendence procs.

If you dont get behind, you can have a Morell at 10min, but Transcendence kicks in at lv 10, which is ~14min unless you get pretty fed. Looking back at a couple games, average lv 10 was about 14-15min, with a pretty fed top laner getting there around 13min.

In one game Im looking at, Im behind, but my opposing laner is 2-0 with same cs as me, and has 3160 total gained gold at exactly 10min. He has enough to get a Morell if he started Amp Tome. Starting anything that doesnt build into it, plus pots, he's still 240g off.

In this situation, they could have 15% with rune+Codex, and by 14min they could be at 35%. But a lot of people dont take Cosmic Insight as not every champ wants to push max cdr. Most tend to take the free gold with boots at 10min.

Rushing cdr isnt everything.

Yeah, but it's usually a bad decision. item 3020 item 3136 spikes earlier and harder than Morello's, Celerity gives roaming power and makes it easier to dodge skillshots (as opposed to transcendence which gives you nothing until level 10, and insight...insight is fine, but boots ad stopwatch are stronger at the moment.

What's really stupid is how much raw damage mages get from item 3020 item 3136 right now, it's insane against anyone that doesn't have the luxury of building mr.

Sorcerer and HG are fine. They just add magic penetration and a modest 25 ap. It just dominates people with low health and no magic resists Once they get more health and MR, it’s much less interesting
