Matchmaking in-balance not talking about premades, well, kind of

Okay so, I get that were not going to get solo que anytime soon, and I will have to deal with that if i want to keep playing this game. However, what I will not tolerate is the fact that I worked my way up to Plat 5, and I would like to go higher, but how am I suppose to do that when people in plat are allowed to que with people in silver or low gold? Riot made the restrictions for Diamond and higher that they couldn't, why can't Plat players get the same respect? I just feel like people in plat division should only be able to play with people that are around that level, aka ( plat 4, plat 5, gold 1, gold 2 ) that would be half way decent of a system, but for plat 5s and 4s to be matched with silvers and low golds that don't have the same reaction times or mechanics as someone a bit higher, is cheating the higher end player out, does anyone else agree with this, or is this just me?
