Let's Discuss the Ashe Rework

It's been out for barely half a week, but lets discuss this.

Her passive is pretty weak early game - like it's supposed to be - but still provides meaningful damage even if the slow barely affects fights. Later on, it makes your DPS insane and extended battles are very much in your favor. Ranger's Focus feels extremely powerful. Huge AS bonus, you hit like a truck, and your target can only shamble at a meager pace as they are hit by a hail of arrows. Hawkshot feels so much better to use! Sending a hawk down the enemy lane or all the way to top side river can let you catch the enemy's position up the lane or catch the jungler in the act. I do not miss the gold bonus whatsoever. Her ultimate has actually received a fair nerf, and it's much less useful in teamfights because the slow is heavily reduced.

I could see item 3153 item 3071 or item 3142 becoming items on her. I still prefer item 3508 because CDR is just so useful on her, and pushing with your abilities sucks up a ton of mana.

The best supports for her are Sona Leona Janna and Lulu . Lulu is mostly good because Pix is an on-attack effect, meaning that Focus applies it twice per second (because that's the intentional cap on Pix's effect).

I think Ashe will be getting a nerf very soon. Ranger's Focus should be targeted first.

I think it's important to note that late game, if she has high crit chance, it's usually a nerf in quick fights because she can't crit on the first attack. She HAS to apply frostshot first, via auto attack or W. That said, she seems to do about the same amount of damage as most carries. The hypercarries like Kog'maw / Jinx with minigun still outclass her damage, as they should since she has a global stun. Global E needs to go. It gives a ridiculous amount of utility. Being able to check dragon / baron from the well is a massive strategic advantage. I would rather it have a smaller range and maybe apply a debuff to any units in the vision, where she will do more damage. Or perhaps double the slow from frost arrows if they're in owl vision.

In 1v1 situations she's pretty awful unless she uses her ult to stun. She relies on W hitting multiple targets to get her Q up fast. While her crits are guaranteed, they're a lot weaker than other carries unless she stacks ghost dancers for crit damage. Consider also that most other carries will have near 100% crit chance with 2 ghost dancers and IE, and they will get it on the first hit without having to use volley / an auto to apply frost shot.

Her passive seems kinda like Yasuo's, but taken to the extreme. She will ALWAYS crit, but they're MUCH weaker. However, she's ranged, and her range is very good. The slow is pretty bad early on. She can't have a 30% slow early in the game anymore. She also doesn't get free 3 gold per creep, which isn't a huge deal, but it still adds up over the course of a game. Volley is pretty much the same, but can't go through anything anymore.

So basically, you have:

Nerfs: much weaker slow early game, no free 3 gold per creep, weaker volley in lane, weaker ult damage Buffs: the slow is free now, the range on vision is global, with five stacks her Q does very good damage, very consistent damage due to her passive.

Her passive actually supplies more damage on the crits. At 100%+IE, it takes 6 hits to reach the normal DPS for other champions, or at 55%+IE it's only 3. Focus and Volley makes this completely negligible, you get Frost on them immediately and at no loss of damage, then you can go to town with the extremely powerful AA amp.

Her nerfs were mostly only to her CC output, which I feel is perfectly fine considering how much damage opportunity she was given.

3 gold per creep barely pays for boots and consumables. It's not missed at all.
