Be getting 25 LP per win in Gold 3, and after placements drop to gold 4? Is the thing rigged to make sure that winning 60% (Which is better than the average summoner) will still make you lose 100 mmr?

Actually, yes. They made it very clear that most people will drop in rank. That is the purpose of a new season; to make people work back up the ladder.

Sounds like you got hit lightly. There are people winning 7+ of their placements and dropping 3+ divisions.

I ended last season as Gold V, went 5-5 in placements vs strictly golds/plats and i got dropped to Silver II. I started season 4 as bronze I and climbed. The lp gains are pretty high and you can climb rather quickly if you have a team that can actually work together.

I've won so many matches against teams with players better than me or my team simply because we moved as 5 and the other people got cocky.

I guess if I am better than gold 4 I'll climb quickly like I was before :D.

Exactly, if you truly are better than your placement, you'll climb! Otherwise, you may just have found your brand new home :/

You can climb as long as the Rito gods don't give you 3 afks per game on your team. Cant salvage a game as the support with only a jungler on your team :(

Just played a normal game with 3 afks. Decided to shit talk the LB the whole game. The rage reaction was nice from her.

Hahaha. Sometimes when i play Shaco jungle, i choose one person to talk to for the entire game. Like little pieces of un-needed advice or a horrible joke that only Shaco would make at that person's expense. Shaco is meant to terrorize someone to death so sometimes i like to roleplay.
