A simple way to understand vision

For nearsighted people, we need glasses or contacts to see properly. Else, we risk getting into car accidents, running into objects, and not being able to read important stuff.

For players in League of Legends, we need wards to see the map properly. Else, we risk getting ganked, losing objectives, and not being able to capitalize on enemy mistakes.

But if I buy item 2044 or get item 3361 , then it delays my build, and then I can't carry the worthless scrubs on my team. If my support is too lazy to run up to my lane every 3 minutes to place a new ward then it's their fault that I die when I push my lane opponent into tower and hover there like a mother fucking boss.

Edit: Do I seriously have to add a /sarcasm to this?

Might wanna stick a "Kappa" on the end, there. Poe's Law, ya know.

Okay, allow me to introduce you the safety of buying wards.

If you die because you didn't help your Support, who can only have a maximum of four wards on the map, by warding yourself...

  1. You give the enemy team a chunk of gold and experience.
  2. You spend time idle and unable to do anything, rendering your gold income to 1.6 gold per second, down from about 8-12 minions per minute, which is around 4.6-5.8 gold per second.
  3. Your team cannot take objectives safely

If you ward and help out your Support...

  1. You have a chance to catch an enemy team member and get bonus gold yourself, profiting from your ward.
  2. You can safely maintain your gold income from minions.
  3. Your team can safely take an objective.

I've noticed that buying wards never impedes my build.

Huh, go figure.

I will legit rage in ranked games when my team refuses to upgrade their trinkets until last. People don't get it. Suddenly when at lvl 12 I threaten to sell my sightstone until everybody figures warding out, Vision becomes important.
