Just had to deal with a trash talking Jayce and Leblanc in an URF game. I told them to "Stop complaining this is meant to be for fun". Of course it didn't work so I had to mute them before I got really angry at them.

I do this all the time

I've been the agitator a few times, but I stopped because I find that it works both ways (it gets me over confident, so at best it's a 50/50 way to make a game easier). The best was right after a game where I had negative fun, I took my negative fun out on the enemy team by taunting them every time I out played them and eventually my whole team joined in and just like that match making created a team of cocky assholes.

at the end of the game, I turned that negative fun into positive fun for myself by passing on that negative fun to the enemy team and it felt great.

There was another time where I taunted the enemy team because they were obviously being abusive to each other. In that same game, we had a mid laner who was talking shit to our top laner for feeding, that same abusive mid laner said "don't worry I'll report Rainbowgasm". It just goes to show you, we seem to sympathize with the enemy more than we do with our team mates.

You don't understand the principles of why people trash-talk, in the first place .

Insulting someone for trying to reach their goal even if it means being your enemy is pretty dumb.

Insulting someone for not trying to do what they assigned themselves to do is pretty natural .
