As someone who goes long periods of time without play, I'm sick of relearning the jungle so often

And I get it, sometimes you need a change, but the jungle seems to experience a rate of change that no other roles have to endure. It's patently unfair. There was a time when the buff-on-smite system made red side clears optimal for AS based junglers. Now? The timer, buff, and camp changes have made Red side a death trap for single-target junglers.

I don't care about that. What I care about is that the current jungle is the nth iteration that I've had to relearn, and frankly I can't be arsed to do it again. It's tiring. It's not fun to take a tried-and-true jungler into the jungler and get killed by a camp because of Riot's "from the hip" policy of sweeping changes.

What has changed?

I mean in reality the JG has been the same for years...small additions are not real changes. Play Op duelist with fast clear and ANY form of CC and you can JG that champ.

Anything more specific for examples I could assist with advice for that.

Virtually everything. "Same for years" is a disgustingly flat and complete mistruth and you fucking know it. It would be easier to list what has remained the same.

Changes include:

-Camp additions -Individual camp strengths -Buff effects -Buff effects on smite -Number of monsters per camp -Stats of those monsters -Addition of plants -Jungle items (seriously, this changes WAAAY too often) -Jungle item Enchantments -Jungle-specific masteries -Even large monsters have changed multiple times (ie. Rift, Baron, dragon)

The changes are not necessarily bad, possibly not even unneeded, but occurring with a frequency that far outpaces every other part of the game.

All micro changes.

The fundamentals of jg has not changed. Exert pressure on the lanes after quick clears. Based on pathing(Based on champ)

Gank lanes. Get objectives. the "Changes" are just fresh adjustments. Jungling is the same as season 3. Except it scales far better into late game. Season 3 almost every single JG fell off the world after level 14. No we have full length games with impact-full jg's. It took a while but we are finally here.

Don't be reductionist. In that sense, the game has not changed since season 1.

LOL True. This might be THE reductionist statement of the day. AND Ironic AF. LOL

Not actually upset. Seriously giggling at it.

lol the Jungle is an empty shell of what it was even 2 seasons ago. Cut that out.
