Shacos Abroad - I Need Halp
I have a few questions that I'll keep as specific as possible, hopefully it'll make it easier to answer. I'm sure "How do I Shaco?" gets old.
-
At higher skill levels, is Shaco less effective because cheese strategies no longer work? For example, box killing blue buff and taking Deceive at lv 2, and since the enemy used their smite, steal their red then kill their no doubt low health? Or, his splitpushing?
-
Assuming you get a lead a Shaco, how do you translate that into a win if an ally fed? I don't mean to sound like "That guy," so I'll explain. If an enemy bruiser gets ahead in lane, they can probably 1v1 Shaco, so splitpushing is much less effective, and his teamfighting is decent at best, even if fed.
-
Assuming you're doing decently (Let's assume it's about ~7:20 in, you're level 6 and just backed. You have 1 or 2 ganks' worth of gold, one kill and an assist, perhaps.) Do you still go down the Stalkers(Warrior)>Boots>Tia>Mobis>Hydra>Ghostblade route?
-
If you're behind, is it a bad idea to rush Devourers+Tiamat and farm to hopefully get back in and later splitpush?
-
How do you feel about Shiv+Infinity Edge versus Ghostblade+Hydra?
-
When do you usually build bruiser; when behind and/or when your team needs a good teamfighting presence?
-
How frequently do you counterjungle (Assuming it's either Lee Sin, Vi, Rek'Sai, Jarvin IV or Rengar)?
Thank you a tun in advance ^-^.
+ 1 Defensive Item
Your ult is great for duels/tower destruction
Try not to use E becuase the passive effect is great
I wouldn't focus too much on counterjungling unless you can somehow capitalize on a mistake they've made (got harassed, failed a gank, forced to back etc.) While it is easy to pressure the other jungler with your boxes, I've found that aiding your team directly works much better.
My most common strategy is to start Red, take Q lvl 2, Q behind the enemy mid, lay down a box between their turret and them and just start hitting them. Unless it's LeBlanc with W you will almost always either burn a flash or get a kill if your mid has skilled up their cc ability.
As far as splitpushing goes, you need to be certain that you can handle whoever the other team sends for you. If you splitpush and die without taking objectives, it was for nothing...

. With tiamat you will clear your camps a lot quicker and conserve mana since you won't need it for clear anymore. What you want to build after is really up to you and how the game is going. I've stopped using shiv lately since I'd rather go for AD and armor penetration since I am already getting a guaranteed crit on every gank AND your E scales really well with AD.
Usually if I'm REALLY fed I go for an
after my Tiamat, if not I usually take
or
if they have strong magic damage.
