Why would I ever pick..
?
I honestly don't know.He seems really cool. An anti-void swordsman assassin who you won't be able to run from. I never heard of Kassadin until his change that completely gutted him this year, and that was when I decided to try him. I fell in love with him immediately. I didn't care he was "trash tier", since I have a bit of a thing for the underdog, and a cool one at that.
Literally every champ in the game seems to be a hard lane counter to him. Like, moreso than other assassins. I can somewhat breath easier with Talon/Zed, not to mention that Tiamat can help bring up your CS for when your opponent doesn't want you to have any. But no one lets kassadin get any CS. His Q is laughably bad for trade or to cs and quite honestly, the shield insults me. I like all his other skills, though.
This dude is an assassin, right? But he seems to be the only one I can think of that has to build non offensive stats first if he wants to realistically do anything. Talon can just buy longswords every back thatll go into something, Kat goes straight for Ludens, etc. Not this guy.
I know people have a hate on for mobility since it is tacked on a lot for newer champs, but I feel it is a core identity, rather than a tack on for the likes of Riven and Kassadin. But for this style of play, I don't see why I should use kassadin over riven, ever.
I honestly want to take Kassadin into ranked, but I don't want to be fighting complete uphill battles every match. His damage feels subpar, and I swear I spend more time ulting away from people than into them.
Many games, most of my kills are because I see a fight going on, I ult in to see what's going on, and realize I accidently KS with my ult. Sorry, I just wanted an autograph.
I really don't know what to do with this guy, or see a reason to ever pick him over the likes of LeBlanc.
