Destroy Tier 2 Turret Before Tier 1?

Theoretically, could it be possible to destroy the second turret in a lane without destroying the first? Maybe I'm just being dumb and the second turret is untargetable, but if zzrot could target second turret if closer to it then the first turret, it should be possible to get to nexus without destroying the first turret. It could also be plausible that the second turret could be poked down by repeated dives for 1-2 autos. Again, maybe I'm dead wrong, just wondering if it's possible.
