is that we get at least a year break of having to just deal with people regurgitate Korean stats or 'Korean build' or 'Korean strats' as undeniable fact after KR got outperformed by NA, EU, and China. Thank god we don't have to sit there and take it when people pull "but korea is the best so everything else is invalid exdee" "but they aren't that good in korea exdee" "but the koreans said this exdee" "but they're really good in korea exdee" "but muh korea exdee" "very meta in korea exdee"

The only reason NA made it that far was because they got the lucky roll and their opponents were mostly all nameless nobodies. That was also why NA got pubstomped by EU in the end because as weird as it sounds, NA was unprepared from being fed a completely wrong impression of the skill level of 2018 Worlds up to that point.

I'd take them off the list from "outperformed by NA, EU, and China".

Well, Koreans are still the best, because Korean players play in Chinese teams and won. TheShy, Rookie for example are Koreans and they were the MVPs.

I mean, the winner team was from LPL but had 3 korean players and they stomped 3-0 G2 and FNC but went to Game 5 against KT, a Korean team that was the second best team at Worlds.

With all the new lineups and people leaving and going on all these NA/EU teams can't wait to see what will become of this new season.

Korean high elo is still most likely on a far higher level than other servers tho. And Ive heard that over 50% in the winning team is korean anyway.

Korean SoloQ is still the best. Chinese players played on Korean SoloQ and every team boot camps in their SoloQ too.

Best part about the worlds is, that, like every year, soloq is ruined entirely.
