Why don't people test their internet connection before they enter a Ranked game?

If I could get a dollar for every time I played with an ally who had a ping of 1000, I would be rich as hell now.

I don't believe this internet problems all suddenly start once you get into the game. Most of them must have had issues before entering the game.

So many LP have I lost because people play with a huge ping and they aren't afraid to spam it the entire game.

Because ping can spike at any time.

Yeah that doesn't work(at least for me). In the middle of the game, I(very rarely) get lag spikes that last for a few minutes. Then it goes away and I go back to my normal ping. There's no problem any other time, but it just happens right in the middle of the game(then I usually just stop playing).

This is the dumbest complaint.

Anyone can test their internet for HOURS with everything running normally, and then suddenly their internet troubles will start as soon as the enter a game. Testing your internet connection doesn't fix it or prevent it from dropping.

I suppose you can blame anything you want for your poor games here since you are always posting on your fake account!

because ISP's are a fickle thing

Partly because sometimes the connection can be fickle and can go out with no reason or warning.

I remember back in the days we got punishments like days ban for leaving a normal game. Now they have a few minutes queue ban. Believe me if they make the punishments more brutal the problem will be fixed right away.

I usually play one aram game as my first game of the day to test my game speed. (unless im pressed for time at the best time to play them game after 9:30 am in the morning and im i have to go to work later im trying to get every game i can in while people who dont care about ranking up are asleep. Meh ff@ 20. no how about you stop queing up for the game and learn how to turn around games so that you arent sandbagging mine. No its not equal to lose this one to win another one later one loss is equal to 3 wins the win you gave up the win you have to make up to get to the same place and the win to get to the place where you would have been if you didnt lose that game (and thats not even counting the lp you lose for breaking a win streak.)

Maybe because you can't check your ping without getting into a game

For what ever reason, some times mid game My game just minimizes out twice. in roughly a span or 8seconds. so, normally I just blame lag.

I tried to fix it.

P.S. I thought your account was fake because someone on the NA server has the same name as you. So when I look your name up on po.gg, it takes me straight to that profile instead of letting me select the region.

That is my fault. I apologize. It shows your account when I select your region before I do the search. I see you now.

I am sure that no one enters a game thinking that they are going to be unable to play the game due to latency.

I usually average 40-90 ping, but every once in a while you get a sudden thunderstorm and ping spikes to 1000. I don't control the weather, nor do I control Rogers.

Sometimes it happens between two games. My internet was fine, then I went to take care of something for about 10 minutes and suddenly my internet was spiking between 39 and 199 ping, changing every second.

It's also possible they see no issues because they're using a browser without any issue (possible on ping at 80 ms) and then get into a game where their average is like 40.

you can lag after a clean no lag game. ive noticed that if you are in a game and you do something that would make you lag like watch a stream on twitch. even if you close what makes your ping go up, your ping will not go down and you get screwed for the rest of the game. its not always the players fault

I have a problem with my ping, sometimes when I play with ping of 55ms or 60ms (this is my all time ping) my game is "trying" to reconnect, leaving me on "attempting to reconnect" screen with normal ping and It never reconnects. The only way to fix that is by leaving the game and then reconnecting. It recently started happening and I have no idea how to fix it, It's probably because I moved 3 months ago and It took me almost 3 weeks to get house internet, since no one lived in our apartment when we bought It. It's not something everyone can control, I'm sorry this have happen to you, but It just happens want It or not...

Because you don't expect your internet service to be trash especially if you've been playing fine all week. Then on some random day your internet is freaking out or isn't playing nice with riots servers is not your fault. Do you take most of the blame for the loss? Yes since it is your problem and you created a problem for the rest of your team.
