I'm getting a positive KDA in just about every game and still can't climb

How is this fair? I am clearly better than the people I'm being grouped with, so there's 0 progress!

Not sure if you're being serious or just trolling, but if serious, it most likely has to do with your map play. League of legends is not "HUR HUR I KILL I WIN" it's more of a game of capture the flag. Killing people just gets them out of your way, but you don't win untill you capture that "flag".

Think more objectively, not KDA.

Be a risk taker, not a panzy.

Play to win, not to look fancy.

Honestly, I've been testing a theory in norms for the past week.. "Fuck KDA, stay in my lane and constantly push towers" and so far its been working?

I mean I participate in teamfights should they occur, but a majority of my time is spent in my lane pushing towers...it works wonders. also takes pressure off of a lane if its being outnumbered it forces some of them to B and relieves some stress off that lane.

Forgiven even said back in his split when he was on sk gaming "I mean sure I can go a whole game without dieing but it doesn't matter if i didn't contribute to help my team"

This is coming from someone the community has deemed as the number one toxic asshole in the pro scene, so if a toxic asshole says that, than it should be pretty clear proof, that your KDA means nothing if you didn't use your power effectively.

Kills don't win games. The game rewards good play typically through gold, strategic success is controlling revenue on the map. Gold creates statistical superiority, which can then be used to knock down the enemy nexus.

Well, just based on the "I am clearly better than the people I'm being grouped with..." part, I'm confident that you think this game is solo, not team-oriented. The best advice I can give is to practice working with your teammates, giving them some advice if you think they could improve in an area, communicate with them when trying to get objectives or go for a kill, or maybe even look at how your playing and see how you could change your own play-style to better gel with your teammates.

Maybe better than the person against you in lane, but better than your teammates? The result speaks for itself. ;)

If you want a more positive spin, then here it is. As long as you are maintaining a positive KDA and are helping your team, it will eventually happen. But if you are not helping your team consistently, and just aiming at winning your own lane only then it will take longer.
