Luden’s shouldn’t apply spell effects

The item is already a great item.

It gives EVERY stat a mage wants With a passive that scales up with ap. While still providing enough damage on its own.

The fact that it applies spell effects is just dumb.

Spell effects include Comet Scorch Corrupting potion Liandries Rylai Hell. Even the HEALING in domination

That’s SO MUCH MORE DAMAGE than this item should be doing.

But you know. I could be fine with that. That could be entirely okay.........if it didn’t all apply on a spell THAT MISSED ME!

Because (insert mage here) managed to hit a fucking minion/jungle camp/ support next to me, I lose 1/4 of my health? What is this garbage?

item 3085 is more effective. On hit effects are applied to the additional "bolts" every single attack. item 3285 requires using an ability after charging the Luden's, and I'm almost 100% positive Luden's doesn't work the way you say it does.

I'll use Teemo as an example because I think it's immediately obvious how Luden's would work. You seem to be suggesting that- if an Ally of mine walks into a Teemo shroom, I will get poisoned if only the Luden's splash hits me. But again, almost 100% positive that this isn't the case.

Runes like Ravenous Hunter obviously apply because the bonus damage from Luden's is still "damage dealt". So after ALL damage is applied, then the % Healing is considered. Another equally silly argument would be "The extra shots from item 3085 shouldn't apply Lifesteal."

Shhhh. Yesterday you were supporting a thread that said Assassins were op. And now you’re complaining about Mage items.

Well, at least you have consistent inconsistency.
