Tristana was not where she seemed, she was where she started.

It is well known that Trist's jump is just aesthetic.

if you watch the video, you will see that when malzahar's suppression ended, she was slightly more up-right position than where amumu aimed his Q. The thing is, in order to create the "jump" illusion, the hitbox isn't exactly where you see the champion in the air, but slightly off.
