Give Annie the Veigar Treatment

Annie is a champ that can be played mid, support, and even top. The reason I'm saying give her the Veigar treatment is because she also has an aoe instant stun that can completely turn a teamfight around alone. However Annie's combo is nearly fully aoe while Veigar's was mostly single target. Veigar could only melt one person while Annie can melt an entire team. I think tibbers needs a .75 second delay and marker on the location he's being called to provide "counter-play". However, these are only the words of a salty Veigar player.

Edit 1:

I forgot to mention how we should "buff" annie afterwards. Lets take her most simple form of harass being her Q and lets make it a skillshot that can be blocked by minions! This will surely compensate for removing her ability to stun anybody and make her completely viable!

Edit 2:

If the tone of this post doesn't make it obvious this entire post is sarcastic. Annie is fine but her playstyle is very similar to veigar's which is stun someone and burst them down. However the lesser played Veigar is the only one that got completely destroyed by Riot to "compensate" for the removal of dfg while annie and a few other champions received legitimate buffs instead.

Edit 3:

I already posted this elsewhere but a easy fix for Veigar is to make his Even Horizon appear gradually from a starting point and continue around to an end point. More specifically, have it begin at the point closest to Veigar and over .75 seconds it forms around both sides and rejoins at the farthest end. This allows Veigar to punish over aggressive laners and better protect himself while not being able to just insta stun anyone or any team from a long distance away.

I just don't understand how Riot hasn't already tried this or at least made his W land-able on targets trapped in his E. I mean they had to know that Veigar would just become awful with how much they took away from him. It's almost like they put no real effort into making him fair to begin with.

I'd prefer Fizz E to have a 0.75 delay

The biggest thing I don't understand about Annie is how she can just sit on her stun indefinitely and have pressure on you literally 100% of the time.

Like, why can't it have a timer like Twisted Fate's Gold Card?

Does Twisted Fate lose the ability to use any of his other skills and still have a stun? If Annie is sitting on her stun she can't push, harass, or farm except with autoattacks.

Uh, pretty sure being stunned for a full rotation of Annie spells counts as harass :/

You get the freedom to bully her for the next few seconds with no risk of getting CC'd.

Way too many people have no concept of timing windows.

Annies aa range is ridiclouse noy being able to herass isnt a problem at al cause when she does get a chance its gonne be ridiclouse damage while your stunned

GREAT POINT! Let's not stop with Tibbers! Lets add a .75 second delay on every spell that applies the stun because if you have and instant or unavoidable stun there is no counter play and that's not good.

Kinda think tibbers shouldn't even proc the stun. force her to chose a single target stun or walk up close for multi target.

Really is true, no counterplay to annie's stun + instagib without having QSS and zhonyas due to the literally 0 cast time she has on anything.

Veigar "The Veigar treatment"!? I'll show you, you insolent fools!

Seriously, what is this "Veigar Treatment?" Is this just the new way for people to address a nerf that's somewhere between normal balancing tweaks and getting "Olaf'd"? I think that Riot is still figuring out how they want to fix how oppressive Veigar can be with his instant stun. I've talked about it before, but it boils down to Riot throwing of the balance of fun on either side of the play as/play against line. Before it was too annoying to play against, now it's not fun enough to play as.

But that's not what I'm here to talk about though. Just something that's getting on my nerves; the frequency of complaints about Veigar's rework.

Anyway, as for Annie, I do think her stun is overpowered. She has too many abilities that use this way too well. If you're against one target, she's got a spell that won't miss. If she's against a group of people, she has two spells that can stun any people in a certain range. You get too close, she AoE stuns you. You don't get in her face and leave her alone? She summons Tibbers and AoE stuns you. Like... wat? You can just stand around with a stun ready and zone your opponent out. You didn't even do anything; congratulations, you casted 3 spells, now you get free zoning. I know it's not like any of her abilities have cc on them, but she has a move that's almost exclusively for getting stacks on her Pyromania. I know pros have been countering her for years, but I have had people dodge when the other team picks Annie after they had picked mid. IN RANKED. Even worse, I've seen people get killed by her twice, and just AFK. IN RANKED.

It's unfortunate, but we've kind of come to one of the real questions about balance that Riot has to ask themselves. Do we make the game more fun for the average players, or do we keep it balanced the same way it has been for the pros to have their variety and make the LCS more interesting for viewers and players. Sometimes, they can keep both, but that's not always the case. I see so many threads that say Hiemerdiner is OP, but pros are fine with him because they coordinate their teams around countering Hiemer's turrets. He becomes a lot less of a problem. Valid threat, but less of a problem. If they nerf him too hard, he could very well fall out of professional play, while making the game more fun for the... 80-90 % of the community? I mean, they're already trying to slowly nerf Katarina so that the people who are pre-30 or Bronze can have more fun playing against Katarina, without totally making her worthless elsewhere.

"Veigar Treatment": Mindlessly 'fixing' an issue without giving a f**k how the Champions Kit is supposed to work afterwards (Preferably by adding a random 0.75s delay [on a Spell that already has a cast time]).^^

For real, Veigar´s "compensation" feels like A) A drunk balance-team-guy put 30 Minutes of work in it, or B) Riot´s trainee did this!

if she uses an ability to farm she loses her stun. if you watched a game of Veigar and Annie. you would notice how Veigar has his stun up more often then Annie can use hers.

Annie also doesn't scale infinitely.

These are 2 different champions. lets not ruin Annie because you're buttmad over some Veigar nerfs...
