Two runes that should be reworked or replaced. - Suggestions.
- Fleet Footwork. Incredibly boring rune for laming it out. You get the heal and you get to run away in one! A staple rune for ADC playing it safe, but also if you ever play this against a toplaners with heals like Fiora or Tryndamere it's one of the least interactive experiences you can have in this game. No matter how much Riot buffs this for melee it's not prefered because it doesn't win trades. But if the gameplay shifts towards a more safe approach it's just annoying.
Suggestion: Make it only work when you hit enemy champions or large monsters, and give it a damage component that does bonus damage based on total lifesteal (synergy!?) so melee actually may want to run it for trades instead of being lame, which hardly anybody does anyway. This also means the range version wouldn't have to be so damned weak.
- Gathering Storm. With stats out of the rune system and into stat shards, and the nerf to celerity Gathering Storm makes even less sense then ever. Many champions basically take the sorcery tree secondary just for this rune now. It's the only source of scaling damage other than the much more conditional Dark Harvest. Character who wants to scale? Take Gathering Storm. But that's most champions so it's a non-option.
Suggestion: Just make it built into the game or make the adaptive stat shards scale... Or make Gathering storm an active like: You store a large amount of bonus adaptive damage that increases over time, which can be activated for 15 seconds giving your champion a potentially huge damage boost for a crucial moment. Sort of a hyper-mode.
