What is this week where there's no ranked but no pre-season either.
It's not the pre-season, we're in the season 8- without ranked basically. It's the off-season. As if the pre-season wasn't long enough, we need this week of absolutely nothing. They didn't even give us a fun game mode for the week.
Most pointless week of the year to play League. It's like they want us to take a break. [slayer-pantheon-popcorn]

I actually have the perfect idea for this:
Cutting Room Floor RGM
Basically, it's just Summoner's Rift. However, you're using a bunch of changes that never made it off the PBE, including items, game changes and more. It'd probably be too involved for an RGM but it'd be funny to see all the changes that never got to see the light of day in the current season, as well as some free testing for future seasons.

They should just open up URF, Hexakill, OFA, and Dominion, and let us play what we want. These stingy fucks refuse to let us play anything other than LC$ Simulator. I'm sure we'll get a double dose of shitter RGMs like Nexus Siege and Poros back to back, knowing that the majority of the playerbase won't play those either, leading us back into Sim.

Imo we need pre season, we need it to get used to new changes, just like in LCS when there is a new patch they dont change to it, they stay on the one they started on
NichtHurz4 votesI think there should be a preseason, it just shouldn't be as long. Maybe do the preseason throughout December and start the new one once the new year begins. Still gives some time to fix major preseason flaws , but doesn't take such a long time to make ranked really worthwhile again. I still play ranked, but it just doesn't feel too great knowing it'll be kinda obsolete anyways ( I know that climbing higher gives you better chances to be placed in a better division once hte new season starts.).

Ice Weasel X2 votesIt's not the pre-preseason. It's the postseason. Preseason is in preparation for the upcoming season. Postseason is winding down from the previous season. They probably intentionally don't end the season on a patch day so that they can avoid bugs in data collection. Notice how they shut down transfers before the end of the season? That's part of their process for avoiding conflicts in checking which accounts are eligible for which rewards.
