I hate Rengar

(Not asking for him to be nerfed, just a champion QQ thread, maybe throw me some tips to not get anally annihilated every time I see him and i know posting this is a very stupid idea, but fuck it)

No other champion in the game can erase you from the game so fast if you are playing a squishy, he can literally kill you in 0.01 seconds

I really fucking hate having to play a squishy champion VS him, you cannot even dare to get semi-fed because he will make your life a fucking misery, killing you at every point in the game he can, he is the champion who makes champions who are 10/2, go 10/13 20minutes later

I KNOW there are plenty of counters for him, but they never seem to help me so much, trying to defend a carry when you see the exclamation mark above your heads is a impossible task, throw a pink down and see the horror as a 600 movement speed Rengar is flying right into your carry, and one second later, your carry is 6 feet under

And this is why Rengar needs nerfed. No champion, no matter how fed, should EVER be allowed to do this. There is literally no counterplay available at all.

He has more counterplay than anybody else in teh game so su and l2p bronze friend.

That's exaclty why he is a completely 1 sided "gobigorgohome" champ as he has trillion counterplay while he has only 1 way to success.

Try to shut him down early. He snowballs really hard with his bonetooth thingy. Also, if you see the warning above your head from his ult, try to get near your tanks or a tower.

Build a few tank items maybe? Iknow silver mobafire guides allways shows full glass build but you know u can take a few defensive items regardless of champ.

Also you are welcome to complain for Scruffy who "reworked" rengar and just like in skarner's case he completely killed the sidebuilds and forceda single build on him wiht his rework.

Annie Diana Fizz Leblanc disagree. And there are also some who just need some more time but have CC so you can't resist without QSS/Michael. And Rengar is countered by Zhonyas if you are a mage, and also GA can do the job

Rengar is the 3rd weakest and 7th hardest champion in the game.

As a frequent Rengar player, here are a few suggestions for you to make it harder for me to do my job:

  • If you are not a carry role, pick a peel heavy champion. A Janna or Lulu ult can negate Rengar in a team fight. As long as you ult the second you see him coming out of stealth, you've ruined his ability to team fight. A good Thresh is miserable to play against since he can flay you out of your ult leap and still have tons of CC left over to deal with you.
  • Other picks that can really help a carry deal with Rengar are Kayle, any support who can build item 3401, and champions who can provide big shields quickly (Janna, Lulu, Orianna, Shen). Rengar's damage combo gets the job done, but doesn't bring a surplus of excess damage unless he is stupidly ahead. A few hundred damage shielded is often the difference between the carry dying or not. If the carry survives, Rengar has failed. He's easy to CC and goes down very easily since he builds glass cannon.
  • Drop a item 2043 as soon as a team fight breaks out. Even with the speed boost, it's hard for Rengar to maneuver around when he's in plain sight. The worst case scenario is that he doesn't show up and you wasted a ward. If he doesn't though, your team can most likely win the fight.
  • If you are the carry who is the target of Rengar's combo, build item 3102. This sounds really counter-intuitive since it is an MR item and not an armor item but BV blocks Rengar's empowered Q damage. I've had targets survive because I got greedy and did not wait for someone to pop the spell shield. item 3157 is also great as a team fight item, if you're playing an ap carry.
  • Don't split up. This is honestly the biggest thing. Rengar is so much better at picking off solitary targets than he is at team fighting. Don't push up that extra wave just because you're 500gp away from your next big item. Don't think it's safe to do wolves if your outer line of towers is down. Thrill of the Hunt makes it so easy to pick off a solo target because of its massive vision radius, and late game with 40% CDR it's on a 42 second cooldown. Late game I am always stalking around and trying to find that one person who is isolated. If you stay together and force team fights instead of allowing picks, a Rengar team is a lot more manageable.
