So Draven gets to be a reliable ranged tank while my boy Gnar still cant do the same?
I have mained Gnar ever since I was level 23. He has been really good and really bad but there was never a point where he was in the middle. This is because
has 2 forms that he can't control. It was a fun idea at the start, but when one or the other is too strong, it breaks him. If one or the other is too weak, it makes him garbage. If both are too strong he becomes too powerful and would need instant nerfs, and if both were too weak, like currently, he can't do anything effectively and gets outclassed by most of his counterparts. Every other 2-form champion can control when they wish to go into the 2 forms. What made you think making Gnar an unpredictable range-melee champion would go perfectly well for the game? It has not worked before. The current
does his job so much better in the ADC role. This monster can drain tank and deal crazy amounts of damage it isn't even funny anymore. The thing with Gnar is, he lacks any form of reliability. Why would I ever pick Gnar when I could pick
and be a drain tank and have so little mana problems I can stick to the backline like superglue better than any Gnar can? Unfortunately the one mechanic that is the most interesting and unique mechanic in the game is causing Gnar to fail. And playing around with his rage bar until it makes his winrate 50-51% won't work. Shorter games demand for faster Mega Gnar. longer games demand more form control. If the meta shifts, his winrate will surely shift as well. Hell, me making this post as we speak could suddenly cause Gnar to pop up into the meta. His balance is as unpredictable as his rage mechanic. Unfortunately, he needs control over it or I see no way of him ever being balanced.
(46.08% wr) and
(41.6% wr). He is most certainly not broken.
is nothing compared to the drain tank combination
