gold generation at lower elo

LilxPaprika··1 votes·827 views

So it occurred to me that the game's gold values are designed around professional play where players can get close to perfect cs. For them sure the items are within reach. But for low elo its a lot harder. And even harder to make comeback because they can rely even less on farm to stay relevant.

So how about give bronze like 25% more gold generation, silver 20%, gold 15%.... This could be from all sources, or just units killed, or just the gold per second generation. Don't get hung up on numbers just something that we can agree upon.

I think it will help reduce game lengths as well. More items can only mean destroying turrets faster, earlier barons etc. Shorter games without incomplete core builds.

And for non rank I think it should be more gold as well.

em well that would be a bad idea in my eyes for some simple reasons a) its not transparant somthing riot supports heavly b) it would totaly fuck up the games early mid late game ratio making late game champs stronger c) it would not get the estemated result as if you give more gold per cs the winning team will increase there lead cause they have more and easier cs for kill gold increase the same and for normal gold income it would not make any diffrence

so in conclusion this would not solve the problem of not being able to comeback it would make it alot harder

A) It would be transparent . like everyone one knows each dragon buff gets stronger. Well for each division a description of its stats could be written. When you enter a new division it will tell you what the setting you'll be playing in is like. I would become common knowledge. Everyone would be notified.

B) Then the ratios are already broken because that's how the pros play

C)

having a really tough time making out what you wrote here.

C)Same applies here, if it was broken it'd be broken at pro level. If its gold generation instead of more farm from csing then you can buy the items that help you better wave clear as well. Helping particularly with early game.

A common thing to do if you lost your lane is build a defensive item to just survive and farm under turret. this can help with this.

if anything your adc can buy last whisper, fighters can complete black cleaver or maw to not get bursted. zhonyas completed sooner on mage. can bait with arch staff shield.

By buying items that help turtle you stand a better chance. a support with mikeals or iron locket can turn the tide, zeke's herald helps you bank on the high potential it can offer.

more ways to help your team manage vision control spare gold for pink wards.

I also find that at 4 items vs 5 items I find comebacks are more possible than at 2vs 3. though this could be a placebo. The 1 item discrepancy between a winning team and a defending one is what is most important and it will remain the same/constant.

One of the main reasons you are low elo is because you suck at getting gold/objectives. Until you get better, you will remain low elo. You don't need gold boost, you need skill boost.

Whatever happened to playing to have fun. Rank for most part is just to see where you stand, how far you can get. And this help keep the game fun while retaining a learning curve. Facing better opponents in of itself is a learning curve too. Actually if anything the gold will be such that if you improve your csing as you gain divisions you won't even notice a difference. The rate of your cs increase and gold reduction will cancel themselves out.

Fyi the vast majority of players are silver division. No matter what there will always be pro players and the game will likely be balanced around that pro level of play. For everyone else why should they get a subpar experience as the game is not handicapped to suit their needs.

It would be different if it was golf and you could just be satisfied with playing bogie golf as if it was par. But in league you don't get to experience the game as much. I'd be like never being able to use your driver in golf.

Sure winning is important but lets not forget that this is a game and we should all be here to have fun.

This doesn't promote learning though. The whole point of a lane is to CS. People in lower Elos think killing your lane opponent is the main goal so they save all their abilities, lose cs, and maybe get a kill. We shouldn't support this mindset

It does in stages as you climb elo. Let's be real for the most part people will never reach high elo. For those that do climb the gold gets less and less

You basically want to play this game full items without the effort. This isn't the game for you then friend. The most important, and first, fundamental of this game is farming. When I was bronze I didn't think so but watch the pros. They will grab gold in almost any situation. Even when running away they will grab a creep or camp.

Well, your main job is to defend your lane and take towers, not playing "collect the coins from the minions". You can lose the game with perfect CS, score, winning all teamfights, taking barons and dragons vs someone who can outpush you... Champs like Nasus, Trynda and Yi can solo win the game by backdooring.

You lose lane if you get out CS by your lane opponent. And this game is collect the coin first. Why do you think you will see pros blow ultimates on cs? This game is all about gold stats since one item can change the lane.

You lose lane when your first tower gets taken and the enemy goes to another lane to push another tower. Pros blow ultimates on CS when they play champions that are useless without items. Utility champions like tanks with CC and all the supports can function with no items. You can be 3 items ahead and still CCed and killed. You can win the teamfight and see that Trynda is bashing your Nexus...

when both team gets the gold generation its the same as both team have none.

Except the items theyre equipment is quite different. Earlier sightstone better mana items, etc etc even better at CSing since they have items to clear with. More map presence since tier 2 boots earlier etc etc

Late game champs will actually be where they are supposed to be. Right now they aren't nearly as viable. Early game champs on other hand are really strong at low elo. High elo they actually get the farm necessary to make late game champs worth while.

maybe you need to work on your last hitting my friend, I farm 75ish cs @ 11:00. So if you work on Sustaining your lane, Last hitting is the most important part of early game! And knowing when to trade at moments that does not leave you open for attack!

take your average silver game and match it next to diamond 1/masters cs is quite different. That is the meat of the matter.

Its like saying to a little league baseball player to hit a major league fast ball. Just work on your swing man, its skills you need bra.

Sorry but I have no intention on going pro I just want to have fun. And never completing your build isn't fun.

I don't think you're supporting your argument the way you think you are. If you want to play fun, just do normals.

There's a term for what you want to bring into the game.

Socialism. They should earn the gold, it shouldn't be given to them for doing nothing.

You might as well make all objectives easier to get as well, because low elo players are bad at getting them. Just a thought. [slayer-jinx-unamused]

with the elder dragon spawning at 35 mins and most games likely not lasting beyond 45 minutes. I think this would be a nice addition

Its one thing to end the game with 4 maybe 5 items it's another to actually play with said 4 items for longer than say 1 team fight.
