Even though her win rate is terrible she is still horrible to play against and people still play her alot.

The worst part about riven is that there are a lot of people who are so triggered by her that they have to run their mouths about her in all chat every game they see her in, regardless of whether shes win in or losing or strong or weak at any given time.

People play her alot, not cuz she is strong, but cuz she is FUN. Riven got hit alot this preseason, she is one of weaker top laners now, but her mains stil llove her, they dont play her cuz she is op, but cuz they like playing her.

Yeah, nerfing her wont stop people from enjoying her kit. MAYBE get good now and learn how to play against one of the most predictable champions in league. There is a reason why she is so easyly countered.

Pretty much, even before she got useless this champs totally wrecked her if played correctly. People just suck.

Darius and Gangplank do not counter Riven (they barely retain positive win rates against her, and only because she's pretty bad right now), and they haven't since their reworks.

Renekton and Garen are great picks into her though. As is basically everyone right now, actually. She's never been particularly hard when not playing a champion she counters.
