When is the last time anyone here saw Banner of Command?

Currently Banner is dual resist item that allows you to AFK slow push a lane. That's essentially the exact same niche as item 3512. These items are both now built on the exact same champions for mostly the same reason. I don't understand why Banner was changed to the way it is now. What exactly was wrong with Banner building out of item 3108?

Banner is in the same trash-tier of items with item 3056 item 3222 item 3075 Generally trash, but sometimes good on niche champions/strategies. That is indicitavie of just bad design for the items in general.

item 3060 - cheap, effective for defense or offense, scales well into the late game. item 3512 - Expensive, not effective for anything post nerfs, is not a defensive item and takes to long to scale offensively.

item 3158 item 2045 item 3060 item 3512 item 3083 item 3742 is an absolutely fantastic "passive push build". You can easily get 2~3 cannon minions, and then run away or place a zzrot at the large wave for added pushing power.

Needs moar item 3056. Disable turret, let minions do moar damage.

I build it almost every time. .-.

It's better than Zz'rot for non-tanks, since the 1st and 4th minions scale off of HP, while Banner simply makes a minion craptons stronger (and immune to magic!)

I think it was a lot better for non-tanks when it built out of Fiendish Codex. The raw stats just aren't very worthwhile on a squishy support when you already have to buy Locket and Redemption. Going down that path any further basically just means you're building tanky.

On the PBE when it could be used to make you magic immune
