Garen has the issue of falling off too hard in high ELO, but is also currently too weak in general. So how about we increase the short movespeed boost he gets from activating Q? Not in terms of duration, make it remain short, and thus requiring more strategic thinking to use, just make him go faster. After all, as rule n°3 of videogames states, "gotta go fast".

for example give him his animation cancel mechanics on his q back, or do something like allowing him to use his ult like nunus consume and hit jungle monsters for up to 1k damage, to give him more objective control. for higher level play, he needs more strategic value.

SnakDatSmilesBak1 votesI'd love to see him revolve more around his villain mechanic. Such as giving him a reward for killing his villain in the early game. Maybe giving him a permanent ms buff on his q? Garen could be meant to be the team's vanguard and take out the enemy team's strongest player which would thematically fit him very well imo.
