compare this to release yasuo whose winrate was 55% the first 3 days.

rek sai win rate was also about 50% within the first few days.

No it wasn't. Yasuo didn't even break 40% on his first couple days out. He actually got a small buff the patch after he was released because people didn't think he was very good (his ult generating max flow). Ekko is actually doing better on release than Yasuo was.

What's the lie? Yasuo didn't do well on release. Take a look at the December 2013 forum archives. People were complaining about the sub 40% winrate. There were quite a few people who thought he was legitimately terrible. His winrate took a while to raise up. I'd expect the same thing from Ekko.

Do you know why? too many bronzies retards think they mastered him in 2-3 games in normal, come play in rank and get wrecked.

I can't beat Ekko with Azir in normal that's true.

But I just xertah vs Ekko in rank and wreck him.

Then again, it's a shitty Ekko. Do you know how many games do I play Azir before I brought him into rank since release? 40 games. Even then, I was skeptical of picking him unless I'm damn sure I completely counter that person.

When people with knowledge play Ekko like in plat or Diamond tho. Totally different story.

When popularity dies down and left with only people who wants to main him....I think his winrate will go for 50% or higher for sure.

People being bad at a champion they've never played before does not equate to a champion being bad, or not being over powered. Bad logic is bad.

Yasuo had a 38 % win rate...

wtf

Still, his numbers are a bit higher than they should be.

I'm all in favor of keeping Ekko's kit untouched, as far as the people calling him broken or overloaded (he's not), but his numbers are a bit ridiculous.

He is fine in my opinion as much as people think they hate him they hate fizz far more than ekko . ekko isn't hard to beat . pick someone with a good disengage and your problems are solved . Hell speaking of yas has should be able to beat him with little trouble. I used Quinn the 4 or 5 fights and wrecked ekko . so I'm not sure why people hate. O wait he heals off his ult so ... Morde does the same thing no one complains about him . ekko is fine where he is at

Uhh Yasuo had a horrible win rate and everyone complained he sucked so bad. LMAO.

But I do agree people are just bad at the game and can't handle Ekko because they fail to watch for his conditional set ups.

well the champion just came out and 80% of league players are bronze to gold . thats a fact http://www.lolsummoners.com/stats. This means that his win rate wont sky rocket till noobs like myself get used to his kit and can abuse fellow scrubs all day for free.

release yasu had a below 40% winrate the first few days, Zed was considered utter grabage on release and still only has a 47%winrate now, LB also only has a 48%winrate, yet both are prettymuch permaban. Kassadin also had ~47% winrate befor getting nerfed, and after the rework he was at ~44% and still recived further nerfs. The winrate of high skillcap champs rarly is high, even less so if they are freshly released which means a) few people played the enough to really master them Also, where do have the numbers from? The sides i checked don't have enough data for ekko stats yet. Probably lolking, but somehow i think they are flawed, they use rammus instead of Ekkos icon, and i will not belive that he only has a 4% pickrate. And they don't provide anny statistic for specific elos or maps on him yet, so they probably don't have enough data yet aswell. b) Lots of people that have no clue how it works play them simply because it's a new champ(+ he'S supposed to be op) OP doesn't have to mean freewin.

On a small note, Lolking lists his banrate at 5%. There is no way that his banrate is only 5%, so I don't think you can trust the winrate listed.

Release yasuo didn't have a win rate of 55%, it was below 40% and people said he was bad, not sure where you got you're facts from. Win rate is always iffy when figuring out how strong a champion is. Elise had a win rate of around 46% when everyone complained that she was OP. Leblanc's win rate is currently 48%. Nidalee's is 47%. Two champs that are commonly complained about.
