how the heck does auto fill work?
i queued for auto fill in one game and then someone still ended up auto filled.
does queuing for fill not stop your 4 other teammates from being filled?

No, it fills you. There are still 4 other slots in the match that need players. If the system can't find people queuing for those, it'll take the next available player.
