If you adc main you should try mid

Here's why.

Mid lane is nearly impossible or very hard to keep warned and you have very little room to run back to your tower so you are forced to ward deep unless you want to get ganked while doing this you often miss precious farm. Mid lane is probably an adc main nightmare but I will teach you damn adc mains to ward.

Actually mid lane is probably the easiest lane to escape a gank in. There is much less distance between the tower and the middle of the lane compared to any of the other lanes, meaning you have much less ground to cover between you and safety.

That's not entirely true, you have two sides to worry about instead of one and you don't have a portable warding slave support like in the bot lane.

just from a distance perspective. While warding is more difficult in midlane, but generally as long as you havnt pushed your lane, you can get away from all but the best ganks. This is why it is even possible to play immobile mages midlane on a regular basis, compared to top.

It's one of the many reasons why mid lane is the lane for mages. It also offers access to both top and bot lane, blue buff, and it's also the lane where the minion waves comes to first. However I'm not sure you can call it that much easier than an ADC whose got a support peeling for him and constantly warding.

You're serious right? Guys this guy can't be serious.

Mid lane is the most safest lane, and the shortest lane.

I think this can be seen both ways. I agree you make good points about staying safe and farming while doing so, but there is no way to replicate the presence of the support, both yours and the enemy's.

Different lanes have their own play style.

Top: Beef / Mobility, safety warding, teleport assistance, initiator / peeler | Primary Role: Tank / dps

Mid: damage variation, global support warding / damage, lane clearing or roaming | Primary Role: Button Masher

Jungle: damage variation, global support warding / damage, initiator / peeler, | Primary Role: Tank / dps

Bot: range dps, damage kiting, ability to shrug off another players failings | Primary Role: Kite

Support: vision, roaming, low budget peeling, ability to shrug off another players failings | Primary Role: Peel

As someone who plays both knowing each doesn't really help all that much. What's really helpful is understanding each champion's skills. It's really useful to know for example how long something goes on CD after you see them use it.

Still better than seeing ADC mains jungling.

If it's not for their (usually) terrible map awareness, then it would be for their bad gank times because playing ADC doesn't need much tactical knowledge.

At least they can just farm under tower and still play as backline carries and do well on the long run. Wave control? Zoning control? Some ADC mains can manage that really well, which is an important skill to have as any solo laner.

But of course everyone's different, so I can see the point you're trying to get across.

Putting them into the jungle teaches them the real deal about map awareness and shotcalling.

I see you play support as well, OP.

I too feel your pain of seeing ward charges on all your comrades. It gets worse when they learn to buy farsight wards too, but never use them to gain vision when pushing lanes.

God be with you.
