To be fair Riot has been blatantly favoring ADC whiners for a long time now. It's not as if he doesn't have a valid reason to be apprehensive
I'm pretty sure they haven't finalized everything with the runes reforged yet, and all we've seen is a glimpse of what's to come.
Simple. Rito favors lee sin, adcs, mobile assassins/fighters and mid laners. That's what they love making the most.
They'll change it mate, trust me. It's still a WIP :)
