I've always known Morde is busted. He heals for half his health and Q's for half my health. Not to mention dragon tanking tower for him for years while he whacks it....
I think morde is a good champion (idk if greatest but i think hes pretty good and exciting) but the way you described him is making him seem more like "absolutely broken", not "good champion", i mean..

His ganks are some of the worst in the game, until he gets Rylai's. He's all dmg, little mobility, and no cc (again without Rylai's)

People don't know how much dmg his W does. Once they do, they can just poke him to death. Only way Morde will do dmg is with some way to keep people heavily cc'd for a chunk of time.

Demolish Yorick, Tristana. He's good at pushing, but it's not unique to him, and, compared to those three he's significantly worse in terms of base kit.

mordekaiser main. main weakness of mordekaiser is if he leaves lane he is pretty weak. he can 1v2 if there is a minion near him. smart jungler should know morde is very weak when minion wave is over. morde has no cc and he is weak to cc. once his shield is down he dies pretty quick. mordekaiser has some glitch not gonna lie. he is slow asf. he is in weird position tbh. you need blitz, naut, leona, maokai and thresh in your team to do well in late game.
how to fix morde
simple Make his e a slow or silence for 2-3 sec.
