Lissandra changes coming up.

I'm not a Liss expert, but I know how her kit works and what she's supposed to do.

The proposed changes are basically a rework of her passive that people were asking for a long time and the only thing I'm thinking about is what the hell is this supposed to do.

Essentially the new passive says: "If an enemy champion dies near Liss, a spirit pops out that slows enemies and after 4 seconds, explodes, dealing damage."

I mean, I couldn't find a way to make her passive more useless than it already was, but I think they did. What is this new passive supposed to accomplish? Useless in laning 1v1 scenarios. Almost useless in skirmishes as well. What about teamfights? If Liss engages a teamfight and gets a kill, it's probably because of a good multi-W and multi-R, which probably means that the fight is won at that point. Having a 4-second timer on her passive to go off feels so stupid.

Apart from that change, they lowered her mana costs to compensate, but also lowered her AP ratios to compensate her passive's damage.

I'm not a design expert or w/e, but I think there could be so many more ideas for her passive.

She's supposed to be a teamfighter, not a 1v1 mage.

The passive is actually really useful in team fights, almost got a penta kill because of the new passive on pbe. So I don't see anything really wrong with it as one death could snowball into a chain reaction.

Didn't think they can gut her more but there it is. Other divers/assassins have passives that can be consistently procked and Liss can use her passive 10-15 times a game total :D.

I disagree.. just because you engage and get to kill one enemy doesnt mean the game is won especially if your team mates decide to back lol. In teamfights it helps her kill enemies like a domino effect and she is now able to take care of herself more if her team doesnt engage after her because before she was exposed with all her abilities on CD in the middle of the enemy team and now she has back up...

Talking about her solo lane.. She can now 1v2 if the enemy jungler shows up as she only needs to kill 1 enemy for her enemy jungler to consider attacking her and because her abilities will be on CD that Ice zombie gives her good defense and a chance to survive( most will fail because people cant play lissandra well but still).

Remember that this is only on PBE,no doubt they will change something before it becomes live. Overall this helps Liss not be exposed,helplessly because of her failed engage and backs her up while all of her abilities are on long CD

The new passive triggers if she's in the vicinity of an enemy who dies. She is not required to land the killing blow.

This is a teamfighting passive, Lissandra is already much more of a teamfighting mage rather than a 1v1 dueling one. She has CC, Utility and AoE across all her abilities, she's MADE for teamfights.

I dont know what neat static team fights you're having in your games, but in real SoloQ and pretty much every Queue, teamfights are chaotic messy and nobody knows perfectly what's going on. Adding a ticking time bomb that slows enemies everytime someone gets picked off creates a lot of chaos and "dead zones" where enemies cant walk/escape to, unless they wanna waste their flash/mobility/take a big chunk of AP damage (around 500 AP damage late game if i recall correctly).

The direction her changes are taking her to are VERY clear and VERY defined, and makes her passive much better than her old one, the rest of her nerfs are another story, but these are not the subject of this thread.

I love how the Thralls are so slow people just simply walk away from them...yes this is good in teamfights and yes she is a Teamfight oriented mage but when you also consider her Ratios all being cut and then That it will probably take all of your spells just to kill your target now theres no definite way she'll even land her passive (Cause again Thralls are so damn slow) that they can easily be kited after you all in burst someone to the ground. to be honest she's probably more useful as a support now cause at least then her passive can be procd and actually do something then...

so many better ideas! Even going along those lines it could be something like a mini kog blast whenever she kills an enemy. Or even going back to her first one it could refund mana whenever she kills an enemy or something

Why not make the new passive just be like ornns briddle effect or whatever, anyone alrdy affected by one of your cc's becomes briddled to your cc's now, Q someone, longer duration on W and R, W someone, longer duration on Q and R, etc... balance team are actually 2 iq lol
