Another great idea from Riot. I didn't know I wanted this until today. It's small touch, but it's the small touches that keep me convinced that Rioters care about this game just as much as the players. Wonderful addition!
Mazariamonti8 votesLiterally every time I accidentally press '5' when I just bought my zhonyas and end up dying because it got moved to '3' I say to my team 'wouldn't it be nice if I had an option for zhonyas to always be on 5, I don't want it anywhere else under any circumstance'.

But seriously, this is amazing. I died just a couple of days ago to an iffy bush duck thingie because my SS got swapped from 3 to 2 when I bought EotW. My ADC only needed one more AA to save me. Alas.

I tend to put potions on 3, offensive triggers (such as tiamat, bork etc) on 6 and late game I put defensive stuff on 3. this will help out a ton in keeping me from in the middle of the fight, smash my 6 for a bork/gunblade/tiamat only to go, well shit, it got moved to 5 or 2 cause i finished the item :/

Would you be concerned that it encourages players to set their skill order for a champ and not adapt to the game? I realize there's a preferred skill order for most champs, but good players often deviate from that when the situation calls for it.

Nameless Voice2 votesYou do realise that you can rebind the trinket key, right? The first thing I did when trinkets were introduced was to bind them to the key to the left of "1", and put the active items back on 1-6.

I guess you're talking about trinkets? I re-bound that key to spacebar when they first came out. We've always been able to use "4" for whatever we wanted. This change just allows you to assign a default space for a particular item.
