There's really no reason for a pre-30 to be in a normal game with people ranked in gold+

different mmr's or not, we shouldn't be acting like someone that is in diamond in ranked should face against some pre-30 in normals

There are smurfs, including from Diamond and above, among pre-30. I'm not saying the match-making in Normals is good, but it would not be logical to hard-code a rule about division in ranked versus account level, who both have nothing to do with the Normals MMR.

That seems to be happening a lot since riot "fixed" DQ's matchmaking.
