Suggestions for some Tryndamere changes from someone who hates playing against Tryndamere
I know these sorts of threads are usually made by "mains" of the champion in question. This thread though will be one made by someone from the other side, from someone who hates playing against them.
Tryndamere is not my MOST hate-to-play-against-them champ (that would be Yorick), but he's up there. What exactly do I hate about playing against him?
- His crit chance is always absurdly high, needing only 2 items to become a monster that only gets more terrifying late game.
- His ult allows him to live much longer than someone dealing the amount of damage he does should be allowed to.
If I were to change anything on Tryndamere to make him not so bad to play against, I would remove the crit chance gain from his passive and replace it with bonus physical damage on his auto attacks (remove the bonus AD passive from his Q also, and remove the cdr effect on crits from his E) equal to some percentage of his current Fury, and make it so he can only ult when he has maximum Fury, similar to Shyvana. This requirement for his ult gives him a visible window of power similar to Ryze's new passive, something that has to be built up, and makes him someone you do NOT want to get into a prolonged fight with.
As someone who does NOT play Tryndamere, I am not all too familiar with his downsides. That makes it a little difficult to suggest some compensations for what are effectively nerfs. Maybe he should get some stat buffs, or some additional (less toxic) effects on his abilities. Perhaps he can get some bonus attack speed based on his Fury, or movement speed, or maybe health regen.
Overall, I think Tryndamere should have his Fury mechanic played up a bit more, making him someone who should be strongest in prolonged fights. I would like to read what others think though, both Trynd players and haters alike.
