Champion Balance. Some Champions Are Not Broken

Akali, Yasuo, lot of these trending champions aren't broken. Strong, but not broken.

I don't think many people realize something about League Of legends, or Summoners Rift to be specific.

It's not ARAM mode. Stop dying. You give these champions kills, and play unsafe, that's why you think they are broken. Ok, here's another thing people don't know. POWER SPIKES. Akali is so easy, so vulnerable before she's 6. When she's 6, she's strong sure, but she doesn't become that OP status until she gets her first item which is usually the hextech gunblade. Same with Yasuo getting 2 crit items.

So now you know these two things, stop dying, know their power spikes. Play safe. There's a youtuber that talks about the whole "not dying" thing. Well, even in high elo, the kill scores can go past 20 kills each. So if you going to keep giving this person all these kills, what do you think is going to happen?

Most people refuse to farm at the turret, some just want to be pushed up in lane "gotta get that CS man!!!! whooo!!". Had this Jhin mid lane who kept fighting mid with Akali. Told him not to, but every time he pushed up, what did she do? Ult and he was dead. (we did end up winning cause I became fed but still).

You should sacrifice CS sometimes. Although pressure is good and important, can stop the laner from roaming, but if it prevents you from dying, then do it.

Also, it's funny when ADC's complain about a champion being strong.. (I believe ADC mains are the ones that actually do the most complaining). You are a squishy. You are going to be 1 shotted. Even by some tanks (if they are ahead). You are going to be 1 shotted. A tank in real life would 1 shot you, and it's hard to destroy. YOU ARE A SQUISHY.

  1. Don't feed your lane.
  2. Know your power spikes.
  3. Play safe, try to die less.

Knowing your counters would be a good idea.

No such thing as a broken champion!!!

I don't really think people ban Yasuo because they think they're broken (possibly same with Akali). People ban Yasuo because of how toxic and un-fun he is to play against and I've seen way to many games that we as a team shut down Yasuo super hard early on to where he is like 0/5 or even worse. But once the mid game comes around and he gets those 2 magic items, and because most yasuo players I face happen to be mastery 7, they could get 1 or 2 good team fights and instantly get back int the game and become 1v4 monsters.

Though personally, I've been slowly not banning him because I find there is other more annoying people to ban this patch (like Nasus...hate that dude with a passion) so I'll tend not to ban him as much now. Also if we are talking ranked, I know some people ban him because they can't risk having those first time yasuo players on their team and ruining the game for them.

But you are right though, that every champion does have counters and can be played around and beaten but some champions feel like their counters or weaknesses are very small.
