How in the hell do i hit nidalee spears?

I've had so many people tell me, just look at the way they dodge and throw it at the way they usually walk. I can confirm, THIS DOES NOT WORK! They just simply walk the other way. I've found that using the illusion of their teammates and safety gives me a huge advantage in hitting spears. As for actually hitting them when they are trying to dodge, it's almost impossible. Her main damage is her q. and if you don't land it, you can do shit. So please someone tell me how to hit a spear when the other person is trying to dodge them.

First of all, don't go in if you don't hit it as, like you said, it is your main damage and gives you higher w range and additional q damage in animal form.

For hitting it, it is hard to hit when your enemy can see you. But you are a Jungler. You have to try to throw it from position where the enemy can't see it instantly.

For example from behind the wall when you gank mid. Or from behind the wall that comes after tribush when you gank top/bot.

Another way to hit it is when your enemy is distracted by your teammate(s). You just have to play around it so your enemy has almost no reaction time.

Really?

Try getting used to consistently landing Sonic Waves on Lee Sin before moving to nidalee, it's got faster speed, and Nidalee's spear has a tighter hitbox

lee sin is way easier imo

yeah, but they have similar playstyles

lee, you throw out your q, then you e to slow and w to sustain.

nidalee has to land her q, coguar transform (R), get close enough then use pounce(E), take down(q) then swipe (w). alot more steps for nidalee but bigger burst.

You gotta practice. a lot and be really good at skillshots.

Use fog of war so the enemy doesn't have time to react.

it's that they kept nerfing her Q's cast time The only way I feel I can cast at an advantage is switching to human form well jumping and throwing a spear.

Honestly the best advice I can give you is just to say, practice. Learn the range and the time, that's all you can really do. The more you use it the better you will get. It's not something someone can tell you how to do, it's really all just the feel of it. Go into a custom and practice on bots, or get someone else who would be willing to sit and just let you chuck spears at them (I will totally help you with this if you want)

Just so you know I'm not spouting out my ass on this. :p

Practice by shooting at lower ranges, and move up from there. The farther the target, the bigger window for them to move out of the way. I think it also moves slower at lower ranks, but I'm not sure on that.
