Another Patch, Another Perfect Example of Power Creep

Graves: Buff Kayn: Buff Kha: Power Adjustment / Overall Buff MF: Buff Nocturne: Buff Rengar: Buff Shaco: Buff Talon: Buff Wukong: Buff Zed: Power Adjustment / Overall Buff Kai'sa: Buff Lee Sin: Buff Lucian: Buff Quinn: Power Adjustment / Overall Buff Rakan: Buff Xayah: Nerf

It's easy to see why the problem of too much damage in the game exists: Duskblade gets a nerf, and every champion that uses it is immediately buffed, despite the fact that a few of them were way too strong because of it (cough cough Kha and his 58% win rate).

Other champions need to be nerfed slightly to bring them in line with others. We don't need more buffs.

Kha zix didnt need compensation

While I know this is an unpopular opinion, YES he did. You need to consider just how much he used the duskblade proc: every single time he went invisible, duskblade reset. He could use it three times with the active on his ultimate, at least once if he was near brush with R evolved, and even more if he stepped out of vision for a second. His entire damage pattern revolved around it after they nerfed his evolved Q.

He lost a LOT of damage with the duskblade changes. At least this way they are giving you more reason to evolve Q again, most people just ignored it.

Kha zix was strong before duskblade even existed

Right, but he has also gone through many iterations and balance passes since then.

Its extremly hard to find a patch where most of changes are buffs as someone who has been tracking changes since season 1

I am getting tired of this power creep cycle jerk

**Current damage is overbearing due to Defense gutting not champion buffs **

Having said that AD itemization had power creep

all those buffs are due to duskblade nerf ulu

Kaisa wasn't even in the game a couple of patches ago so they are just trying to bringing her to a strength that they think balances her out with the rest of the champion pool. As For the rest of them the Rakan Xayah combo was nerfed and Rakan was brought to a position to where he can rely less on Xayah to be a good pick. Khazix's changes are a bit odd and heavily nerf his early game clear speed especially against non singular camps like the raptors with the 15 base damage reduction and w bonus damage removal. That feels pretty bad since he already has a bit of difficulty against those camps but now to to the emphasis on isolation his late game and teamfighting is definitely stronger with and without duskblade. This is basically a power neutral change to Kha. The Rest of the champions ether are compensated well or were just weak in the first place and are buffed to compete with what is good. The Only Real Power creep issue I see is with shaco who really did not need that much of a compensation at all or any compensation in my opinion based on his statistics.
