Nerfing Ekko by 4 AD doesn't nerf tank ekko. It doesn't nerf him at all.

Nerfing Vayne by 3 AD is more significant than that nerf. More AAs = more it effects them. You basically went up and went "Man Brand is overperforming as a burst mage" and nerfed his AS.

How to nerf tank ekko.

Passive 20-190->20-150 damage base.

Q: Slow 32/39/46/53/60 -> 32+(~.1 AP)%.

Ult: 150/300/450 (150% AP) ->125/225/325 + (175% AP)

Is it really that hard. I mean seriously. Take away his base values and give him scaling. It isn't hard. Not is it rocket science. These changes will literally kill tank/bruiser ekko for good as he is not healthy at all.

First: you have absolutely no idea what those kind of ratios would do

Second: the point of nerfing his base AD is to make item 3078 less effective on him. The spellblade effect works off of base AD

It doesn't matter if you nerf him building triforce or any sheen items. The point is that tank ekko is still a problem and nerfing interactions with a damage item isn't going to solve his problems.

Solving his problems is taking away free damage and forcing him to invest in damage to get his utility and damage. Hence the reason his slow is pretty hard nerfed for anything but AP in my changes. And lowering his passive base values reduces how much damage tank ekko does significantly while leaving AP ekko virtually untouched (he is still going to kill almost anyone he can stick to).

And yes I do have an idea what the ratios would do. AP ekko would gain utility in the late game as well as damage on his ult. His slow would be about 80% late game vs. the current 60% if we went with .1 AP scaling. If you drop it to .08 then its about 70%. But since slows have diminishing returns 80% really isn't 80%.

Basically AP ekko would lose almost no damage while tank ekko would lose about 15% of his while also not being nearly as sticky.
