Is op.gg rank calculator somewhat acurate?

http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=CrimsonDawn77 It says I'm at Silver 2, 0 LP. This would be an estimate, as I haven't done my placement games, cuz they were a total tilt train hell full of smurphs and totally unbalanced. I thought I'd be about silver 5 or 4. I have been on a bit of a Jhin rampage, it's been good, but not totally amazing. Is the rank its predicting somewhat accurate?

not really, only riot knows the true matchmaking rating. Its complete bull shit that you can monitor LP but not ELO which is vastly more important on improving.

90% of the comments I've seen about it say that it is very inaccurate, but it got my predicted placement rank on point right before my last game.
