Will flex queue raise solo que MMR if you play alone

So I decided to play ranked and it's putting me in flex queue alone. Will it still register it as solo queue but in flex placements or is it flex and flex only. I'm currently 2-0

Riot said solo queue and flex queue will have different ranking systems, so each one shouldn't affect the mmr of the other.

So solo is down until all ranked rewards are out???
