Who Is Taliyah And What Is Her Niche?
Taliyah is the next champion to be coming to the League, and so she is the current topic of discussion for the most part. I came here to highlight her weaknesses, strengths, and who she is and what she will be bringing in general.

What Is Taliyah's Play Style Taliyah takes on a role that is currently in the game and expands upon it, almost having the entire champion revolving around it. What is that role? Roaming Middle. Or Jungle if you make that work. However, Roaming Middle is her niche and what she does. Her kit pushes her in this direction a lot!
- Her Q creates long lasting (3 minutes if I recall) zones that lower the power of future Qs cast in that zone. She also gains movement speed in the zone
- Her R and E can make escaping a gank nearly impossible for majority of the League cast. If the champion is completely immobile, then her R stops escape. If the champion has a dash, her E stops escape. The only champions that can escape her ganks are teleport champions, and even then a well placed W can knock these teleporting champions back over R
- Her Passive revolves around being out of combat and traveling near walls, namely the river walls Basically, a good Taliyah is unlikely to stay in one spot on the map for too long unless completely forced to.
Strengths
- High Roaming Potential
- Incredibly Anti-Mobility
- High Burst Damage (when roaming)
- Above Average Mobility (for a Mage)
Weaknesses
- Staying in one spot incredibly hampers her damage
- Her abilities can be easy to dodge if not aimed perfectly
- Overall low range/area of danger (for a Mage)
- Weak Scaling if she isn't roaming and landing her moves perfectly
Please keep these Strengths and Weaknesses in mind when looking upon her. She herself has a very unique play style and should make games with her in them very interesting for both teams!
