Am I the only one who finds the jg meta this season just boring as fuck?

I love jg, have been doing it on and off since season 4. Honest to god this has to be the most boring jg meta I have ever played. Its practically all assassins and fighters.

I love playing tank jgs, and honestly its fucking excruciating to play any tank jg right now.

riot has nerfed all of them, all tank jgs I can think of are sitting at under a 50% winrate.
playing them in the jg is honestly brutal because of how slow their clears are.

Can riot please just give them an actual decent clear time?

The problem with giving them better clear, is you just make them good at EVERYTHING, mobility, cc, tank, clear time, ganks, i feel like that's kinda what riot's going for in the jg, weaker clear for stronger late game/tank

The problem with having a weak clear is, someone like graves walks into your jg and just takes your camps from you with no effort because he can clear a camp in half the time you can. He then steals your gold which makes it impossible for you to afford items for that late game.

Jungle is painful this season. There are a few top picks, and beyond that, it is a chore to play.

I hate how not playing a top tier jungler just equates to you getting fucked so hard. If you don't play a top tier jg you lose camps to the enemy jg and just have such a slow time farming.

For sure. Especially since you know you can't do anything to stop them unless your lanes all pull out to help, but then they lose lane.

It feels like this game more than ever is decided by whether people are willing to sell their souls to play the few OP champs.

Skarner, olaf, trundle, sejuani, reksai, zac, jax all have decent clear. Some might not be 100% but tanky enough i would say to fit the profile.

I'm not really a jungler player but I might have to gently disagree here because for some reason I find jungler this season not as horrifying as it was previously (when I had to play jungler).

Not my role, but I love going with Evelynn Nidalee and thinking of picking up Kindred soon.
